Dogs have been with me for as long as I can remember - I was very lucky to grow up with dogs and to always have dogs in my life later on. My Viszla mix Benny has been by my side since 2016. After a change of ownership at my former dog school, I consciously came into contact with aversive training methods for the first time, and after the first lesson it was clear that this was not for Benny and me. We came to fairtrain through a recommendation and were happy with the positive reinforcement training from the very first lesson.
I also discovered dummy training with Benny, which is a great hobby for both of us. Through my work with him as a client at fairtrain, I became interested in learning more about the background to dog training (learning theory etc.). Mumi then encouraged me in my idea to start training as a trainer.
Today I am an IBH-licensed dummy trainer and have completed my training as a dog trainer with the ATN, and I am happy to be able to pass on my knowledge. Respectful, clear and motivating interaction with people and dogs is particularly important to me - both during training and in everyday life.
